Description: Five times in the New Testament God commands His children to evangelize, baptize, and disciple sinners.  The term commonly used for that command is, “The Great Commission”.  This commission is “great” for several reasons.  It’s great because of the seriousness of it: rescue the perishing, It’s great because of the scope: unto all the world. It’s great because of the Sender: The Lord Jesus Christ.  Those who our Lord sends out, or calls, to plant a New Testament church and to fulfill the Great Commission are called missionaries, (One sent forth; Sent ones).  This class will give a brief description and overview of what is expected of those called to be missionaries.  The lessons are designed to help future missionaries, pastors, and laymen who want to better appreciate those who serve our Lord in this role.
